Abel Dolan is the brother of Moses Dolan and the murderer of Cesar Ramirez, a student at a rival school to the Dolan’s campus.

History[]

Moses was planning to transfer out of Aaron Burr High to enroll at the Sunshine Academy charter school and advance his education, with Cesar, one of Sunshine’s students, tutoring him so he’d get in. Abel was furious, believing Cesar would tear apart the family and believing Cesar was bad for the public school as competition.

Abel made a girl at the school Cesar was in love with, Jolie Henderson, lure Cesar to be jumped by Abel and three other boys, Edison Treadwell, Marvin Coyne, and Andy Mews. The boys beat Cesar, set him on fire, and recorded the murder on their phones while Jolie watched in horror. She was threatened into keeping quiet, and when the principal, Ms. Woodside, informed then Jolie was being questioned, the other three boys reacted by beating and gang-raping her. No one was giving their testimonies, so Woodside was pushed to get Abel in interrogation and convince him to confess, the prosecution arguing Moses would get a tip reward for his enrollment and that I was best. It worked, and Abel gave himself and the other boys.

Abel pleaded guilty to murder and was imprisoned. (L&O: "Boy on Fire")
