Alicia Sandow is the daughter of film director Kurt Sandow and the sister of her estranged brother Eddie Sandow. Kurt repeatedly raped Alicia when she was little, calling it a "game" Kurt named "Monster Under the Covers", resulting in her mother running off with her to protect her when she found out, always wishing she could've taken Eddie with her.
Eddie felt abandoned and thus ended up closer to Kurt. Eddie would walk out women who would audition for Kurt's productions, never knowing Kurt was drugging and raping them and Eddie was an unwitting accomplice. Eddie was in disbelief, but his girlfriend Jess Whitley helped the police get Kurt arrested.
Eddie took Jess and her daughter Lily hostage, then Benson in exchange for Lily's release. Alicia and her mother arrived around the time Jess was released after Eddie spontaneously shot her and she needed to get to a hospital. When Alicia revealed Kurt raped her, that was passed along to Benson. This was convincing enough for Eddie, out of his own devastation, to surrender to being arrested. (SVU: "Father's Shadow")
