Alicia Williams was a resident of New York City who was held hostage at knifepoint by Raymond Hobbes. Hobbes was fleeing the police who suspected him in the murder of two women. She was eventually released due to the intervention of ADA Serena Southerlyn. Williams later agreed to testify in Hobbes' case despite the reluctance of her husband Louis Williams. Her release became the subject of disbarment proceedings against Southerlyn. (L&O: DR 1-102)
