Quotes
- Walt Massey: I didn't force Shawn. He seduced me! How could I resist? I never beat him like Jansen beat his boys. It's not the same thing!
- Elliot Stabler: (He backed him into a corner in the wall, disgusted) You're right; it's worse. You had sex with your stepson and you don't think there's anything wrong with that? What kind of sick bastard are you?
- Tony Damon: (referring to Stewart Lynch) That rat bastard!
- John Munch: You'll have to be more specific. There's a lot of them running around in this case.
- Dr. Melinda Warner: Jansen’s genitals weren’t exactly cut off. They were surgically excised ... Removed with a scalpel by someone who knows anatomy, and pre-mortem. (points to Stabler's neck) An amateur would have cut his throat straight across. Jansen’s killer made precise cuts on the carotid artery here, and here, after... (starts to point to Stabler's groin)
- Elliot Stabler: You don’t need to demonstrate that part.
- Tony Damon: I don't know what you're talking about. (Stabler throws him against the wall and roughs him up a little)
- Elliot Stabler: You think I am some dumb cop? You think you're smarter than me?
- Tony Damon: I need a doctor!
- Elliot Stabler: You're gonna need a morgue, pal!
- (Trevor Langan shows up as Cabot's date)
- Bensen: I think Alex is having dinner with the enemy.
- Tony Damon: (to an undercover Munch) Is there another name you prefer to be called by?
- John Munch: As a matter of fact: John Munch, but you can just call me Detective. (shows Damon his badge and arrests him)
- Pedophile: I am telling you, I would never do two men and a boy!
- Munch: Prove it! Take your shirt off! (shoves him into the cell)
- Fin: (to a room full of pedophiles) Okay here's how we're going to find out which one of you is the movie star: we're going to get a court order, strip ya, we're gonna take some pretty pictures and see if your tats match!
- Bensen: (describing the arrested pedophiles) We've rounded up 17 perps so far: teacher, store clerk, engineer, a couple of Wall Street masters of the universe.
Background information and notes
- This episode appears to be ripped from the headlines of the Michael Skult case.
- During the opening scene where the boy is found in the luggage bin, a woman claiming to be a nurse comes to help the boy and do CPR. She claims that he "is barely breathing and has no pulse". This is physically impossible. While an unconscious person can have a pulse but not breath, she/he would not be able to breath but not have a pulse. A nurse should know this.
- Although it may be a coincidence because of where Terminal # 5 is, the logo on a JetBlue airplane can be clearly seen for a couple of seconds while Benson and Stabler are taking Ernesto into custody on the runway.
- The Queens SVU cop says that the case belongs to Manhattan SVU because the bus came straight from the city without making any stops. But the bus did stop for 20 minutes in traffic on the Van Wyck Expressway. And while it is extremely unlikely that a child could go down the highway and hide in the luggage compartment of the bus without anyone seeing him or the driver being warned when the door was open, it is possible.
- Parts of this episode were filmed at JFK Airport. Specifically at the abandoned TWA Terminal # 5, which was scheduled to be demolished and rebuilt.
