Anthony Schlasser is an alumnus of St. Raymond's University as well as an ex-classmate of Captain Donald Cragen. Schlasser was responsible for a car accident in 1964 that broke Cragen's leg. Instead of being dealt penalties, the university, along with numerous other crimes, covered it up to keep its reputation and profits the students were providing.
The crash was revealed after the death of student Jeanne Gallagher and the investigations into two separate rapes she was attacked by, both before and after her death. (SVU: "Sophomore Jinx")
