Barry Freeburg is the head of a film studio, who was also a rapist and a proxy murderer.
History[]
Freeburg was being extorted by sensationalist reporter T.K. Richmond. He also knew that his wife Beverly Tyson was having an affair with Frank Chess. In order to get rid of them all, Freeburg manipulated Beverly and Frank into killing Richmond with a car bomb, but not before raping Richmond's younger sister Jeannie when she was 16.
When he realized that Detective Logan was close to discovering the truth, Freeburg tried to bribe him into dropping the investigation. Logan deceived him by feigning agreement in order to make him confess on tape. He was arrested for his actions and received a life sentence. (CI: "Contract")
