Rufus Carl Gordon, Jr. (January 20, 1932–July 20, 2010) was an American actor who played Horace Washington in the Law & Order season 14 episode "Identity".
Gordon was perhaps best known for his portrayal of Andrew "Pop" Emerson on the FOX sitcom Roc (featuring Charles S. Dutton and Rocky Carroll). He also had guest appearances on ER, Nash Bridges (featuring Cress Williams and Kelly Hu), JAG, and The Practice (featuring Dylan McDermott, LisaGay Hamilton, Steve Harris, Michael Badalucco, Camryn Manheim, Kelli Williams, and Lara Flynn Boyle).
Gordon died on July 20, 2010 at the age of 78. His final role was in the comedy Somebody's Hero (featuring Arthur Nascarella, Susan Misner, and Novella Nelson), released in 2012.
