Carolyn Barek was a detective on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, played by Annabella Sciorra. She was partnered with Detective Mike Logan and assigned to the Major Case Squad of the New York City Police Department.
In 2006 (at the end of the fifth season), she was transferred to a different department for a reason not stated on the show. She was replaced by Megan Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson).
