Cassie Rickman is a drug addict and the mother of Lonnie Rickman, whose custody she gave to Ross Morales to keep her supply coming. Cassie was despondent over Lonnie and had no qualms with Morales turning Lonnie into a drug mule.
Lonnie tried to shoot and kill another kid mule, Clayton Doyle, on Morales’ orders, but he missed and killed Carol Merrick with the stray bullet. Morales was charged with child kidnapping in regards to possessing Lonnie, until it was revealed Cassie sold Lonnie to him. When Lonnie heard Cassie in interrogation speak of him as less than human, Lonnie testified against Morales and got him convicted.
Lonnie took a plea to five years in juvie hall, and he was crushed Cassie didn’t even attend his sentencing. (L&O: “Slave”)
