Chicago Justice is a legal drama television series aired on NBC that premiered in January 2017. Created and produced by Dick Wolf, the series premiered on NBC on January 15, 2017 and ended on May 14, 2017, as the first spin-off of Wolf's successful crime drama, Chicago P.D. and the fourth installment of Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise for NBC.

Chicago Justice follows the prosecutors and investigators at the Cook County State’s Attorney's Office, specifically the Special Prosecutor's Office, as they navigate their way through Chicago area politics, the legal arena, and media coverage while pursuing justice.

The planned spinoff was introduced in Season 3, Episode 21 of Chicago P.D. , titled "Justice", which filmed in Chicago.

It featured Ryan-James Hatanaka as investigator Daren Okada who is working alongside fellow investigator Laura Nagel (Joelle Carter), Philip Winchester as Deputy Chief Assistant State Attorney Peter Stone (Ben Stone's son), Nazneen Contractor as Assistant State Attorney Dawn Harper, and Carl Weathers as State Attorney Mark Jefferies.

Shambala Green appears in the backdoor pilot as well representing the boy who nearly killed Officer Sean Roman.

On May 12, 2016, a day after the backdoor pilot aired on Chicago P.D., NBC gave the show a series order.

In the Chicago Justice pilot episode "Fake", Danielle Melnick is revealed to have been made a judge and is seen presiding over the mass murder case Stone is prosecuting.

In the Chicago Justice episode "Uncertainty Principle", Paul Robinette is shown representing Officer Kevin Atwater when he is accused of murder. Paul and Peter share their opposing views on the case and talk about Peter's father, who Peter is later seen calling but his voice isn't heard.

On May 22, 2017 NBC announced that fourth franchise of Chicago Justice has been cancelled after one season.
