Curt Haskins is a Manor Hill Academy alumnus and dog hotel attendee. Haskins was raped by academy instructor Harold Lassiter, which was never prosecuted due to chairman Brett Forrester's cover-ups. The trauma destroyed Haskins and led to his decline in success, leading to him writing an accusatory letter to call out Lassiter.
When Lassiter hanged himself, Haskins was tracked and encouraged to find other boys and men who were raped. This revealed more guilty teachers and incentivized Forrester into apologizing to the neglected and traumatized students. (SVU: "Lessons Learned")
