Dawn Talley is a news reporter covering the disappearance and murder of Lauren Vance, as well as the lover and accomplice of Lauren’s killer, Jay Carlin. She appeared to be using sex appeal to get her story, but she was really diverting suspicion to Lauren’s husband Marty using her platform and her grand jury testimonies.

When a sex tape of her with Carlin revealed she was in cahoots, the police lied to her that Carlin’s dog fighting ring contained evidence of the murder. She and Carlin were recorded stressing over their guilt in the murder and being familiar with the locks in the kennel, resulting in their arrests.

Talley was found guilty of accessory to murder, conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and false incrimination and was imprisoned. (L&O: “Submission”)
