Plot
The DA's office believes that an abused wife hired her brother-in-law to kill her husband. The defense claims that the woman suffers from battered wife syndrome for her husband "repeatadly beat her," but was is it a case of self-defense or revenge? The defence argues that since she was beaten and had no other options for she had called the police countless times and nothing has changed the beatings, it was the only thing she could do to keep herself alive after he threatened to kill her. The D.A. says that this was a planned out murder and that she had options, such as running away and that she used the brother-in-law to get his money.
