Len Cariou (born Leonard Joseph Cariou) is an actor who played three different characters in Law & Order.

He is best known for his portrayal of Sweeney Todd in the original cast of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical (with Angela Lansbury and Victor Garber), and for playing the patriarch Henry Reagan, NYPD Police Commissioner (retired), in the multi-generational television series Blue Bloods (with Will Estes, Amy Carlson, Abigail Hawk, Robert Clohessy, Gregory Jbara, Bonnie Somerville, and Jennifer Esposito) on CBS.

In 2002, Cariou joined Anne Heche and Neil Patrick Harris as the replacement cast in the award-winning theatre drama Proof. On television, Cariou has appeared in The West Wing, Star Trek: Voyager, The Practice, Ed, The Outer Limits, and multiple episodes of Murder, She Wrote.
