The Church of the Sacred Redeemer was a religious denomination of Christianity, with a congregation located in New York City.
In addition to their religious activities, the Church also operated a nondenominational nursing home. They also undertook projects to benefit the community as a whole, including constructing a recreation center.
Their teachings held that assisting a suicide was against God's law, and thus a sin.
The leader of the New York congregation was Reverend Norman Mills. Parishioners included Jim and Penny Halliwell. (CI: "Malignant")
