Kyle Ackerman was the 16-year-old son of white supremacist Brian Ackerman.

History[]

Kyle was loyal to his father's doctrine, so much that Fin stated Kyle never had the chance to think for himself.

When his father was investigated by the Special Victims Unit in connection with a shooting that shot three schoolchildren (one of whom died). Kyle denied the accusations but did show that he picked up some of the racist beliefs of his father.

With help from Christopher Rawlings, a fellow supremacist, they smuggled guns into a court room. Kyle initiated a shootout by shooting and killed fellow supremacist Brannon Lee Redding for "betrayal". He then killed Judge T. Schuyler and a court officer, while also wounding Detective Elliot Stabler. Kyle nearly killed Stabler but was shot to death by FBI Agent Dana Lewis (using the alias Star Morrison). Detective John Munch and another court officer were also wounded by Rawlings who was soon killed. Kyle's body was cradled by his grieving father. According to the detectives, his father was pleased he had died a "hero". (SVU: "Raw")

Years later, his father who had been imprisoned had arranged for Dana to be raped by Seth Coleman as revenge for his murder. However, this led to him being put in solitary confinement for the rest of his life. (SVU: "Penetration")
