George Costas is a Greek jewelry store owner and a serial killer.

History[]

Costas was a vigilante ready to fire at will against any and all people threatening his business. Costas killed three men under such circumstances, including brothers Garland and Cecil Booker. On surveillance footage, Costas shot the Bookers while they were still stuck at a locked door, then followed them outside when they fled. When Garland got into his car, Costas continued to still shoot him.

He claimed self-defense to the police, which was quickly rejected when it didn't legally or morally fit the events caught on camera. When all three murders Costas committed were tracked, Costas was taken to court for murder. The public held rallies, and the trial was covered extensively by journalism.

Costas was found guilty of killing Garland but acquitted of killing Cecil. Costas filled an appeal, and four jurors went on the morning news and said the convictions they voted for were under duress and sociopolitical coercion.
