Harry Shaw "Hank" Roberts is a man who forced his stepson Nicky to participate in a fight club. In addition, he physically abused Nicky and his wife Sandra. Whenever Nicky fights, Hank would gamble on him winning, and if he didn't win, he would abuse Nicky. These events eventually led Nicky to beat another member of the fight club, Ethan Gilbert, to death. In order to keep Detective Stabler away from him and his family, he ordered Sandra to beat him up so he could frame Stabler for assaulting him.
He was later murdered by either Sandra or Nicky, but it was never confirmed who killed him, due to Sandra and Nicky both confessing to the murder, as well as their fingerprints being found on the gun used to kill Hank. (SVU: "Pop")
