Hannah Webster is the daughter of Kent Webster and the stalking victim and friend of his mistress, Dia Nobile.

Dia got close to Hannah when Kent stole her baby Tessa and gave her to Braydon and Josie Leddy. When Dia kidnapped Tessa to take her back, the affair was revealed, and Hannah was permanently traumatized, especially since Dia specifically targeted her to compensate for losing Tessa.
Despite Kent being arrested and imprisoned, destroying the family, Hannah was in disbelief of the consent of the affair with Dia's unhinged personality. In Hannah's already suggestible state, she confronted Dia, who peaked Hannah's devastation by showing a sex tape of Kent and Dia to her. This made Hannah snap and kill Dia by beating her to death with one of her yoga healing crystals.
Gillian, Hannah's mother, panicked and took the fall for Hannah's crimes, not wanting her daughter to lose her life from a permanent record. Hannah was thus released in spite of her guilt, and both of her parents were imprisoned. (SVU: "Vanity's Bonfire")
