Dr. Indira Singh is a psychiatrist with drug addict Anna Gable as a patient. Anna came to Dr. Singh and said she remembered a murder in the 70s and knew the killer personally. Singh called the police, who were investigating the connected murders of several boys and realized one of them is the boy Anna was referring to. She was originally incoherent, confusing exactly which people were involved and messing up time frames. She ended up in York Hospital due to her detox from ecstasy and MDMA, where she was more lucid.

She revealed her mother's live-in boyfriend, "Robert Sawyer", an alias taken from a dead man, killed a boy left in a hardware box and burned half his blanket with a cigarette. As several more boys were missing, when she put the pieces together for detectives, they found the home in her name, which "Sawyer" used for the murders, the skeletons of the last three boys found under the gazebo. Anna also led the teams to the accomplice, a subordinate of the killer named Carlos Guzman who loved Anna as a teenager, each teen being told then by the killer that he murdered the other kid whom they loved. Carlos revealed he tried to save Anna from the killer because he'd raid his clients' medicine and drug and sexually assault Anna, and when Anna revealed the killer's real name wasn't "Robert Sawyer", Sheldon Kerrick was finally tracked and arrested.
