Jake O'Hara was a 13-year-old sociopath who murdered Dr. Brett Morton's five-year-old son Henry.

History

When Jake and his mother Leslie were brought in for questioning by Detectives Stabler and Benson as to how his fingerprints matched those on the pebbles found in Henry's throat. Jake broke down and said that Henry saw him chasing a cat that he was trying to pet. When he tripped and fell on the cat, accidentally killing it, he was terrified that the boy would tell. He claimed that he knew his mother would send him back to Rhinebeck Survival, a boot camp that Henry's father, Dr. Brett Morton, recommended for him after his father's death caused him to act out. He explained that he was allegedly burnt, cut, and sodomized by the other boys while attending.

However, when interviewed by ADA Novak and Dr. Huang, the other boys revealed that the wounds were self-inflicted and that it was Jake who beat them up and threatened them. They also find out that he was kicked out of two private schools for arson and violent behavior. Novak interrupts Jake's family hearing and told the judge that Jake had been lying all along, which shocks and enrages Morton in the process. Jake merely smiled at Morton. After walking out of the courtroom with his attorney and mother, he feigned an apology to Morton and kept walking backwards, giving him an insulting smile. Enraged, Morton grabbed a nearby court officer's gun and shot Jake in the chest. Jake subsequently died in surgery. (SVU: "Conscience")
