Julia Brinn is the mother of Zeke Brinn, who was molested by her husband, serial pedophile Deacon Brinn.
History[]
Julia was married to Deacon and they had a son but their marriage hit a snag, after it seemed her husband was not sexually interested in her. She often wondered if something was wrong with her until she learned of him being raped as a child by a pedophile Lucas Biggs.
Fearing that her husband may have followed the cycle, she spoke to her son and asked if he was ever inappropriately touched by his father and discovered the truth, after seeing him break down. Calling Deacon, she told him she was going to the police for his crimes. Deacon told her he was coming over and confronted Julia using a gun Avery Shaw left behind.
In the midst, Deacon got distracted by Zeke crying, allowing Julia to take the gun from him. To appease her, Deacon told Julia that he would leave the family for good. Once he went outside, Julia was enraged by what he did to her son and forced Deacon to drive to the train tracks, shooting him dead and leaving him on the tracks to be cut in half by an oncoming train. Deacon's remains would prove his guilt in the rape and murder of the missing boy Jeffrey Ronsen.
Avery Shaw originally took responsibility as he felt guilty for burying Ronsen and scared he'd be a pedophile and hurt his family because Deacon raped him the day Ronsen was murdered. A videotape proved he left the gun behind, thus Julia was interrogated and eventually confessed in full. She was presumably found guilty of murder and imprisoned but with the incriminating evidence against her husband in the form of tapes found it was unknown what type of sentence she received.
