Lydia Ramos was an Executive Assistant District Attorney who worked for the Manhattan District Attorney's Office under Jack McCoy.

She represented the Prosecution along side Assistant District Attorney Casey Novak, who had made allegations that FBI Special Agent Lauren Cooper against had allegedly murdered Larry Moore, also referred to as "The Woodsman", who brutally tortured and murdered twenty-three innocent women. Ultimately, E.A.D.A. Lydia Ramos dropped the charges against Agent Cooper during arraignment, however Casey Novak was convinced that she should still be prosecuted. Lydia than informed Novak that if she wanted to have Lauren Cooper prosecuted, that she must find more evidence to support her case. (SVU: Signature)
