The Manhattan District Attorney's Office (New York County District Attorney's Office) is responsible for the investigation and prosecution of crimes in the borough of Manhattan. In each case they bring before a court, the Office represents "The People of the State of New York". The D.A. is the highest officeholder in the jurisdiction's legal department and supervises a staff of Executive Assistant District Attorneys, Assistant District Attorneys, and DA Investigators.
The main office is located at One Hogan Place.
