Mary Megan Winningham is an actress who played Sandra Blaine in the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 5 episode "Manic".
Winningham has starred in many TV series including Criminal Minds, ER (with Anthony Edwards, Eriq La Salle, Maura Tierney, Gloria Reuben, and Julianna Margulies), American Horror Story: Hotel, The Affair, Under the Dome, Grey's Anatomy (with Ellen Pompeo and Chandra Wilson), and The Outsider (with Bill Camp, Julianne Nicholson, Yul Vazquez, and Hettienne Park). She also appeared in three episodes of Torchwood: Miracle Day (alongside Bill Pullman and Lauren Ambrose) and the movie St. Elmo's Fire (with Andrew McCarthy and Joyce Van Patten).
Winningham has been married and divorced three times. In the early 1980s, she was briefly married to actor A Martinez. They both starred in the miniseries The Young Pioneers. After their divorce, she married television technical advisor William Mapel, with whom she had five children. The marriage ended in 1994. Winningham later married and divorced artist Jason Trucco.
Since the end of 2021, Winningham is married to actor Anthony Edwards, who also appeared in the SVU episode "Rape Interrupted" as Patrick Griffin and Law & Order True Crime as Judge Stanley Weisberg, after beginning a relationship with him in 2020. The two have known each other for 40 years.
