Merritt Weaver has guest-starred in three episodes of Law and Order, including "Sects", in which she played Sunshine Porter, a victim of sexual abuse as a child growing up in the Children of the Divine cult. She also appeared as Jennifer Taylor in "American Jihad" and as Myra in "Mad Dog".
Weaver also gave a memorable performance in the Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode "Tomorrow" as Hannah Price, a disturbed nanny obsessed with her sister and a fictional soap opera.
