Nicky Farnesworth is a local-born drug lord operating out of New York City. The Internal Affairs Bureau has long suspected that he has a number of NYPD officers in his pocket, particularly in the 31st Precinct, but their attempts to root out those cops has met with limited success. Their investigation was nearly compromised when one of their field agents, Sergeant Karen Smythe, was raped by one of the cops on Farnesworth's payroll. (SVU: "Paranoia")
