Nora Lewin was the District Attorney for the County of New York on Law & Order from 2000 to 2002. She was played by Dianne Wiest.
She was appointed as the DA by Mayor Rudy Giuliani to replace Adam Schiff. Giuliani had worked with her on many organized crime cases when he was a US attorney, and thought she would do an excellent job.
