Paul Sorvino is an actor who played Sergeant Phil Cerreta in Law & Order. He first appeared in the second season "Confession", and made his last appearance in the third season episode "Point of View".
He appeared in Larry Cohen's 1985 science fiction horror film The Stuff as a reclusive militia leader, alongside his future Law & Order co-star Michael Moriarty.
Sorvino is probably best recognized for his role as Paul Cicero in the 1990 gangster drama Goodfellas.
Paul Sorvino is the father of Academy Award-winning actress Mira Sorvino.
