Her daughter Ashley began attaching herself to Detective Benson. This led to SVU investigating Ricki for child abuse when in reality, Ashley was only hurting herself to get attention from her parents.
Ricki responded by getting a restraining order to prevent Benson from being anywhere near her daughter. She promised the courts she would care for Ashley, but ultimately traveled to London the day after her court appearance to give a sold-out concert for her tour. (SVU: "Abuse")
