Rita Moreno (born Rosa Dolores Alverío; December 11, 1931) is a Puerto Rican actress, singer, and dancer. She is best known for her role as Anita is the 1961 film adaptation of West Side Story. She portrayed Detective Robert Goren's mother on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Mildred Quintana in the Trial by Jury and Special Victims Unit crossover event.
