Robert Forrester is the ex-husband and vehicular assailant of his pregnant ex-wife Rebecca Townley, out of revenge for her affair with Congressman Thomas Nelson.

History[]

Robert divorced Rebecca after finding out she was pregnant from the affair. Thomas' wife Patricia Nelson, who saw a return of ovarian cancer she treated, was even more horrified, even in spite of Rebecca's son being given to Adam and Carolyn Yarborough, as Adam was Robert's boss in Thomas' public relations team, and Carolyn was infertile.

Patricia found out Thomas set up a trust fund for his life with Rebecca when Patricia died from the newly resurged cancer. Using Robert' own devastation, she threaten to fire him if he didn't go along with her plan to abort the baby. Giving him her keys to the Nelson vacation home in Palm Springs, and a 1986 tan Cadillac DeVille in the garage.

When Rebecca got off work from the restaurant she was a waitress at, Robert hit her with the car, then backed over her to ensure their unborn son was dead. It worked, and Rebecca also slipped into a coma. Patricia hacked into his computer from Thomas' office so Robert would have an alibi Robert then broke into a gas station and cleaned the car off with a hose without paying, leaving his bloody t-shirt behind.

Robert's alibi unraveled when his thumbprint was found on the hose, and he was arrested. Thomas was originally suspected, but when Patricia was found out, she confessed to get a deal of probation. The judge cared for a sentence of a year in jail for her instead. As Thomas moved the car to protect her, it's unclear what his eventual fate was.

Robert was found guilty of vehicular assault, attempted murder, and unlawful aggravated abortion o an unborn child and was imprisoned. (LA: "Pasadena")
