- I just watched the scene in which Dana/Star points a gun to Benson's head in Haley's apartment. Benson gets up and asks "Star?" But in the scene that follows Benson asks: "What are you working on now, Dana?" So Benson is aware of her real name, and Star is just an alias she uses.
