Ted Marston is a dirty cop responsible for the murder of Laura Dietrich and the coercion of false confessions of numerous suspects.
History[]
Marston got four teenagers falsely imprisoned for the rape of a jogger in a park. The real rapist was Mark Dietrich, a recently paroled murderer whose mother Laura was investigating the rape to tie it to Mark. Marathon killed Laura and hoped to place suspicion on Mark, so Marston's crimes weren't discovered.
The Major Case Squad eventually learned about Laura's investigations and tied the murder to Mark. Once they realized Marston's history, they knew he killed Laura and set him up to confront Mark. Both confessed to their crimes and were arrested and imprisoned accordingly on respective charges. (CI: "Monster")
