Teddy Hawkins (alias Brown Sugar) is a celebrity boxer who was investigated by the Special Victims Unit for statutory rape.

He was exposed in an undercover sting arranged by Detective Rollins. In exchange for exoneration, Teddy exposed a child pornography ring, stating he did not view the images himself but was trusted by the members A.D.A Rafael Barba told him that he would be lenient in his sentencing because of this info.
Teddy's information led to various members of the ring being arrested, including NYPD Deputy Commissioner Hank Abraham who was a part of it. As a result, he got a plea deal which Sergeant Mike Dodds thinks would result in him spending at most six months in jail and not have to go on the registry.
