[edit] Background information and notes
- This episode appears to be based on the Rod Blagovich scandal, in which Gov. Blagovich of Illinois attempted to sell Barack Obama's Senate seat.
- This episode also seems to take some cues from the Max Mosley scandal, in which the president of the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile was videotaped in an S&M session with a number of prostitutes.
