Background information and notes[]

  • This episode featured the last appearances of A.D.A. Ronald Carver, Detective Barek, and Captain Deakins. While Deakins's departure was evident to viewers of this episode, Carver and Barek weren't given an onscreen send-off.
  • Deakins mentions he assigned Logan a new desk before he leaves, a callback to the season premiere "Grow", when he assigned Logan a small, woobly desk on his day with Major Case Squad.
