Background information and notes

  • The personality and photographic style of Heltman revealed many resemblances of the life and works of Helmut Newton, who was one of the most celebrated fashion and nude photographers of the 20th century. But Newton was never associated with any of the sordid activities attributed to Heltman in this story.
