John Tietjen was president of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO, one of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod's seminaries. He was accused of allowing false doctrine to be taught during the '60's and early 70's. One of his greatest critics was a pastor from New Haven, MO, in a newspaper he published, Christian News. The pastor was Herman Otten.
