Vera Ann Farmiga is an actress who portrayed Lindsay Carson in the Law & Order episode "Expert". She has starred in various films, including Up in the Air, Orphan (with CCH Pounder), The Departed (with Anthony Anderson, Alec Baldwin, Kevin Corrigan, James Badge Dale, and Matt Damon), The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, The Conjuring Universe (the first film with Hayley McFarland and Lili Taylor), The Commuter, and The Many Saints of Newark (with Jon Bernthal, Leslie Odom, Jr., and Corey Stoll) as Livia Soprano (a role played by Nancy Marchand and Laila Robins on The Sopranos). She also starred as Norma Bates on the TV show Bates Motel (with Nestor Carbonell and Kenny Johnson) and she starred as Detective Susan Branca in the short-lived USA Network adaptation of the British crime drama series Touching Evil (with Jeffrey Donovan and Zach Grenier).
