William H. Macy is an actor who played two different characters in Law & Order. He played Assistant US Attorney John McCormack in the original pilot episode "Everybody's Favorite Bagman" (as W. H. Macy), and Jack Powell in the season two episode "Sisters of Mercy".
Macy was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of Jerome 'Jerry' Lundegaard in Fargo. He also received two Emmy Awards for his work on Door to Door.
