[edit] Plot
Paranoia reigns supreme when a young mother is killed in the park, and the evidence points to a disturbed young artist named Peter Harrison, who is convinced that the government is out to get him. The police soon manage to arrest him, but the evidence is thrown out because of a careless mistake by junior CSU Dale Stuckey, and the SVU's only hope is to follow Harrison and hope that he leads them to new evidence. But just as it seems that they've got Harrison dead to rights, the case takes a strange and tragic twist when another psychopath starts attacking the SVU from within.

- Elliot Stabler: I'm gonna kill him.
- Ryan O'Halloran: I'll help dispose of the body.
- (Stuckey's incompetence has gotten the charges against Peter Harrison dismissed.)
- Stuckey: I'm good at my job, okay?
- Donnelly: Mr. Stuckey, you are out of order and seriously deluded. If this is your idea of a good job, then you are in the wrong line of work.
- Stuckey: You don't know me, I-
- Donnelly: I don't care to. Sit down and shut up.
- (Upon viewing Peter Harrison's artwork)
- Edgar Radzinski: Even in madness, the creative impulse remains.
- (A gas bomb has gone off in Zimmerman's car, killing her)
- Peter Harrison: I tried to warn her--the tentacles are everywhere! DEATH TO ALL BETRAYERS! ALL OF THEM!
- John Munch: You know me, Gwen. I'm your friend.
- Gwen Munch: Friends don't lie about being cops.
- Elliot Stabler: YOU tried to kill Donnelly...and gassed Zimmerman's car.
- Dale Stuckey: I killed O'Halloran too. And now...you.
- Dale Stuckey: I have been a busy little zebra, haven't I?
- Olivia Benson: "Liv, do this!" (slaps Stabler) "Liv, do that!" (slaps him again) I'm sick of it!
- Dale Stuckey: (gleefully) Hit him again!
- Elliot Stabler: Don't do it, bitch.
- Olivia Benson: NO MORE ORDERS FROM YOU!
